Tears fell down out of the corner of my eyes this morning reading through these pages, when Alice was beaten up by her farther in law in front of her own beloved husband. She ran out of the house into the darkness of a winter night barehanded. It couldn't have been more relevant. The past has never been left behind, it is still there somewhere to remind me of how strong a woman could be and must be.
