Spectator

We look with our eyes all the time, at life, at other people, at things. But we don't often see. What is there to see anyway?

An irritated boss we look at, if we see him, we may have known he's been struggling with his wife's life-long medical condition or his boss's rage this morning.

A rude customer we look at, if we see her, we may have known she has just lost her job yesterday and has no idea how to provide to her two children from now on.

An exhausted self-reflection in the mirror we look at, if we see ourselves, we may have realized it's a sign for change.

If we want to put our eyes in better use, don't just look, observe. Be a spectator. There are more to be seen.
