Happy Yourself First

Doesn't it make sense that we should be able to take care of ourselves, love and respect ourselves before we love someone else, and let them love us in return?

We can't expect someone to love us when we don't know how to love ourselves. It's no one's job to make us happy, happiness is an inner job. 

When we walk into a relationship, the meaning of it isn't to complete either of you but rather to seek joys in sharing life with one another, and be there for each other in times of need. 

So don't expect someone to come into your life to make you happy. Happy yourself first.
